Role Overview

This dual-role position is critical to ensuring student safety both in transit and on campus. As a Bus Driver and School Monitor, you are responsible for safe transportation and reinforcing UPA’s culture of structure, safety, and respect throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities

Transportation (Bus Driver)

• Safely transport students to and from school and designated stops
• Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain a clean and safe bus environment
• Communicate effectively with families and school staff as needed

What You Bring

• Valid CDL license or willingness to obtain)
• Strong commitment to student safety
• Professionalism and strong communication skills
• Ability to manage student behavior calmly and consistently
• Reliability and punctuality

Success Metrics

• 100% safe and on-time transportation
• No preventable safety incidents
• Strong student behavior on bus and during monitored times
• Consistent, professional communication with families and staff
